National Police Wives Association (NAPOWA) was started in 2014 and registered in 2015 under the societies Rules and Regulation's Act 1964 No. 4A. The aim of the association is to empower police wives to improve their living standards and provide conducive home environments.

Our Mission

National Police Wives Association, Kenya strives to provide emotional and financial support to the National Police Service families, widows and orphans throughout Kenya. We believe in encouragement and morale boosting for the Law Enforcement community.

Our Specific Objectives

Our Main Idea is to empower police wives to realize their potential as care givers to vulnerable children and take up their roles in the society through financial empowerment, basic skills, life skills and soft skills training.

To build the capacity for the association's members
To foster unity among association members
To sensitize the association members about HIV/Aids, STI's and trauma healing.
To Network and partner with local and international women's organization

A CALL FOR POLICE WIVES IN KENYA

Being a police spouse can be emotionally draining at times. For many of us, this is even more so lately. Even with a good support system, sometimes friends and family have a difficult time relating to the specific challenges and unique circumstances of being a law enforcement family. We reach out to other police wives to join us and connect with other wives, support each other and our families, and learn from one another.
